Itineraries by Day
Day 1: Kathmandu – Pokhara – Tal Barahi Temple Aarti
The journey begins early in the morning with departure from Kathmandu by private vehicle or tourist bus. The scenic drive along the Prithvi Highway passes through beautiful hills, rivers, and traditional villages.
After approximately 7–8 hours of travel, arrive in Pokhara Lakeside. Check in at the hotel and enjoy lunch before resting.
In the evening, take a short boat ride across Phewa Lake to reach Tal Barahi Temple, located on a small island in the lake. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Barahi, an incarnation of the Hindu Mother Goddess.
Guests can attend the evening Aarti ceremony, where priests perform rituals with lamps and prayers, creating a peaceful spiritual atmosphere. The setting sun reflecting on the lake and mountains adds to the beauty of the experience.
Return to the hotel for dinner.
Overnight Stay: Pokhara (Lakeside)
Day 2: Sarangkot Sunrise – Pokhara Sightseeing – Lakeside
Early in the morning, drive to Sarangkot, the most famous sunrise viewpoint near Pokhara. From here, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) as the sun rises above the Himalayas.
After sunrise, return to the hotel for breakfast.
Later begin sightseeing around Pokhara:
Devi’s Fall (Patale Chhango) – a dramatic waterfall where water disappears into an underground tunnel.
Seti River Gorge – a deep gorge carved by the powerful Seti River flowing beneath Pokhara.
International Mountain Museum – learn about Himalayan geography, mountaineering history, and the culture of mountain communities.
After lunch near Lakeside, continue to World Peace Pagoda (Shanti Stupa), a beautiful Buddhist monument located on a hilltop. From here you can enjoy panoramic views of Phewa Lake, Pokhara city, and the surrounding mountains.
In the evening, enjoy a leisure walk along Lakeside, where you can explore cafés, restaurants, and souvenir shops.
Overnight Stay: Pokhara
Day 3: Bindhyabasini Temple – Return to Kathmandu
Start the morning with a visit to Bindhyabasini Temple, one of the oldest temples in Pokhara dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati. The temple is located on a small hill and offers beautiful views of Pokhara city and surrounding hills.
After the visit, return to the hotel for breakfast and complete check-out.
Begin the drive back to Kathmandu, stopping for lunch along the highway.
Enjoy the scenic journey through hills and rivers before arriving in Kathmandu in the evening, marking the end of the tour.
